FOUND VEHICLE IN LIMP MODE DUE TO EXCESSIVE SOOT P2463 DUE TO VEHICLE NOT BEING ABLE TO PERFORM A REGEN. THERE WERE TWO CAUSES TO THIS THE FIRST CAUSE BEING :: WHILE TRYING TO PERFORM MANUAL REGEN THE SYSTEM KEPT THROWING A P0402 EXCESSIVE EGR FLOW DETECTED WHICH KEPT KICKING IT OUT OF REGEN. FURTHER INVESTIGATION FOUND THE MAF READINGS WERE WRONG IT WAS READING UNDER 400 MM AT IDLE WHICH WOULD INDICATE EGR FLOW.. CLEANED MAF SENSOR AND AIR FILTER (ALMOST CLOGGED) AND GOT MAF READING ABOVE 500MM IN TURN IT DIDN'T DETECT EXCESSIVE EGR FLOW AND ALLOWED US TO PERFORM MANUEL REGEN TO REDUCE SOOT MASS. WE HAD TO PERFORM MANUEL REGEN 3 TIMES TO GET SOOT MASS FROM 325% TO 10% AND ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO COME OUT OF LIMP. CAUSE NUMBER 2:: AFTER GETTING VEHICLE OUT OF LIMP THE VEHICLE WAS THROWING CODE P245B EGR BYPASS CONTROL CIRCUIT. UPON INSPECTION FOUND VACUUM LINE WHICH GOES TO EGR BYPASS SOLENOID DAMAGED . REPAIRED LINE AND REGAINED PROPER FUNCTION. THIS TOO WAS A REASON VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO INTO REGEN ON ITS OWN..
